Merger Finance Platform for the CRC–Aera Acquisition

When California Resources Corporation acquired Aera Energy, Enterprise Solutions Lab — working with Deloitte — served as finance SME and design lead for the merged finance platform: SAP Central Finance integrating Oracle Fusion and a carved-out SAP ECC system into one reporting backbone.

Project Overview

Two upstream oil-and-gas companies, two different ERPs, one combined enterprise. ESL designed the Central Finance architecture, mapped every required integration across boundary systems, and built the value-realization case that justified the investment.
